Ingredients for making diet Easter Egg:

800 grams of diet chocolate or chocolate zero chopped sugar

 100 grams of sour cream

2 tablespoons of pure cocoa powder (no sugar)

1 tablespoon of sweetener for oven and stove

How to make an Easter Egg diet:

Start by preparing the stuffing as it needs to cool down before stuffing the egg. To do this, put 300 grams of the diet chocolate on low heat or zero sugar with the cream, the sifted cocoa and the sweetener. Keep stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and turns into a smooth cream. Turn off and let cool to thicken.

Tip: Choose a quality diet chocolate, it makes all the difference in the flavor of the Easter egg!

Prepare the Easter egg shell by heating the remaining chocolate (500 grams) in a bain-marie or microwave until it is completely melted - be careful not to overheat the chocolate or it will burn, giving it a strange taste and consistency.

Tip: To melt the chocolate in the microwave, put it on full power and in 2 or 3 cycles of 30 seconds, stopping to stir.

Spread the melted chocolate in the shape of an Easter egg to obtain a thin layer. Place the pan face down on a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper to drain off the excess, and set aside in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.

Tip: The amount of ingredients indicated yields about 2 eggs of 250 grams each.

Repeat another layer or two of chocolate, reserving the shape in the fridge between each layer, to set. The last layer should stay in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, to be very hard.

When filling, place 2/3 of the cream previously prepared, leaving a space until the top. Sprinkle sifted cocoa powder, place the remaining chocolate cream and cocoa in a pastry bag and use to decorate the eggs. Return to refrigerator for 1 hour.

Tip: If you want, mix some chopped hazelnuts into the filling, to give it crunchiness.

After putting it to freeze your diet chocolate egg for Easter is ready! A delight to enjoy this Easter without compromising your health. Be sure to prepare and let us know in the comments what you think. Bon appetit and happy Easter!
